A little bit about me

My passion is to care for children. I am a experienced teacher for infant/ toddlers and preschool for fourteen years. My experience includes working in early childhood in both the private and public sectors. As an advocate for early learning, I continue to grow and learn by attending workshop and conferences for educators every year. My primary goal with infants, toddlers and two year old students is to establish a caring engaging relationship with them through daily routines. These include diapering, feeding and appropriate learning activities that will help them meet their developmental milestones. Working with preschoolers I build relationships with them by listening to them, asking questions, encouraging their language and planning activities that will help in preparation for kindergarten readiness. I believe each child is unique and a gift. Kindness is key in modeling good behavior children can emulate and grow from as they prepare for community learning environments.
