I also worked as an intern psychologist where I worked in the majority of the time as a children psychologist. My most rewarding experience has been teaching special needs children, as I helped them to become more independent in the school and home environment. I used a lot of visuals to assist with communication, behavior, routines and transitions.

One of my best moments was the first time I took my two boys that I was caring for to the park, so they can play at the playground. I taught them how to use the slide by themselves and it was great to see the joy and happiness they experienced while we all played together.
