Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a nanny for over 8 years, I have experience with all ages, from 6 months old to 16 years old, it has been very nurturing, loving, fun to have the pleasure of having worked with children of all ages, I have learned a lot and I know the needs of both children and parents.

In addition to caring for children, I can also do laundry, light cleaning, keep the spaces where I spend time with them clean, I consider myself a clean and tidy person, I can make their food, go to the park, the pool, make play dates with their friends, I am a very good driver, I am also very good with dogs, I am very good with routines, I think it is a very good way to teach children to be responsible and to take charge of the things they have to do.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I think crafts are a creative way to let them express themselves, play lots of games, go to the park, walk, explore the neighborhood, put on some music and let ourselves go with it, dance, play with balls, draw, go to the park, the pool, make some pastries so they can see the process of how things are made from scratch.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It is definitely the love you receive from the children and from the family, they love you and make you part of the family, it doesn't feel like work, but they make the day to day seem easier and more enjoyable. I love with all my heart every child I take care of, I take care of them as if they were my own, I teach them things about my Colombian culture as well.

My experience with special needs children...

Unfortunately I have not yet had any experience with special children but I would be willing to learn how to handle them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love that I have a very good relationship with the families I have worked with, with the children, they keep calling me to tell me about things that happen to them or to ask for advice (clearly I am talking about teenagers at this point) but with the children too sometimes I go to visit them or their parents invite me to their house or to family gatherings or to their birthdays, I love to see their little eyes light up when they see me and greet me with an: ANGELICA! That makes my day immediately.
