A little bit about me

I have been in childcare for 20 years, My focuses are working with the parents as a team, when there is separation in communication(which is key) between caregiver and parents. They need structure that doesn’t feel like structure sometimes, when a child is in my care, the television is never on, I’d rather focus on imaginative play, art, being outdoors, a fun outing and books, When prepping meals or a rainy day baking muffins etc, if the child is old enough it’s always fun to get them involved helping me. I love helping them discover new things and their own personalities. I always want them to feel safe, seen and cared for. I have a theatre background, music is essential and I always have some type playing. I love art, I’m a bookworm, biking, history, photography, I swing dance, love antique cars, I love being outdoors and anything vintage. I love learning new things, we never stop learning as we get older and I love that.
