I believe the most important part about being a nanny is keeping the child safe. Whether it's from getting physically hurt or from them being hurt emotionally it's very important to me that no harm comes to the child.

I have lots of experience with children with special needs as well as personal experience through overcoming my difficulties with having autism. I know lots of ways to calmly de-escalate tantrums and hard times as well as when it's best to leave the child to de-escalate themselves in a calm and safe manner. I love teaching children coping skills as well as learning what works best for the specific child.
