My experience with special needs children...
I’ve dealt with one special needs kiddo before but tons of experience from him, (although I do know the spectrum does vary per kid). I learned to feed him, change him and taught him too say a couple words. I’m very patient and know sometimes they just need a minute instead of being pushed. I can’t promise I’m the best fit though having experience with only one kid but can definitely take care if they are not highly on the spectrum. (I tried to say that without being disrespectful I’m sorry if I offended anyone)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Once I was teaching this kiddo how to make ice cream and we we’re shaking the bags and his exploded everywhere! We just laughed and put the rest of his bag and mine in the freezer and he helped me clean it up!
