I grew up with two brothers with special needs and I did have some children with special needs at my camp counselor job so I do understand the key is to focus on the child's individual needs, strengths, and challenges while creating an environment that is both supportive and nurturing for them.

when a sweet 8 year old girl made a bracelet for me when i was a camp counselor. it was made out of pipe cleaners and beads, cutest thing ever!! :)
