More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I babysat and nannied through high school and college; I was a nurse in the cvicu at the children’s hospital then in pediatric home health care; I raised six kids of my own and homeschooled for 18 years (preschool through high school graduation); I’ve been back to nannying for five years, since my last child left for college. It’s been fun and I feel like my experiences as a nurse and mom make me an even better nanny :)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Holding and rocking babies, cuddling at naptime, playing peekaboo or hide and seek, going for walks, exploring nature, trying out playgrounds (one little guy and I spent two years visiting the parks and playgrounds in our city and ranking them in order of favorites!), visiting children’s museums, going to libraries and reading lots of books (and choosing ones relevant to a child’s interests, life changes, developmental level), talking and listening, laughing and being silly, teaching new skills and concepts, climbing the jungle gym and going down the slide together…
The most important part about being a nanny...
1. Children are safe.
2. Children are happy and needs met.
3. Parents are supported, encouraged, and their lifestyle respected.
4. Tasks are done and things are in good order for parents to come home, stop working, enjoy their children.

When my little six year old nanny boy “changed” my last name to his, “because I’m a part of their family”!

Part-Time Nanny Available in Denver, CO: Amanda Y.
Hi! I'm Amanda, and I have over six years of experience working with children of all ages. I've been a full-time nanny and currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provide one-on-one support for children with autism. I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology, giving me a strong understanding of child development and positive behavior support. I'm patient, dependable, and love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Whether we're doing arts and crafts, playing outside, reading stories, helping with homework, or exploring new activities, I enjoy making each day engaging and meaningful. I believe in open communication with families and always strive to be someone parents can trust and children look forward to seeing. I would love the opportunity to support your family and help your little ones learn, grow, and have fun!

Hello, my name is Jacques Montero, I am an excellent mother and I am sure that I will do a great job for you. I am alone in this country because I had to leave to give my son better stability. An experienced nanny who has cared for multiple families over the years. One in the summer of 2020, and two families since early 2024-currently. I have also cared for my nephew over the years, who is now 11. I adore children, I can help with their homework, transportation, meals, and "field trips". I also have been working with special needs kids for almost 6 years now and I love it. As well as working as a teacher at Skyview Academy a few years ago, and GOAL High School. I am a college graduate. I am very interested in performing arts, I love to sing, act and dance. Additionally, I am very active and outdoorsy, so swimming, walking, going to the park or other outdoor activities I am always down to do with the kiddos!
