I was an au pair for almost 3 years, and before that, I worked on a personal project in my hometown in Colombia, combining my background as a social worker with my passion for children. My project focused on storytelling, reading, writing, and painting—tools I used to promote peace and coexistence in a marginalized neighborhood.

A special moment I really love to remember is when my ex host kid Thea used to hug me and comb my hair saying "I love you", those glimpses of validation to my work with her made me felt so special and grateful for the opportunity to share with her but also was a great way to knows I was doing my work with results and impact in her.
