I am currently a CNA and have worked with lots of kiddos! I am actually specializing in working with children with special needs! Fun fact: the first family I nannied for was my neighbor, and we still communicate!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing any form of arts and crafts, baking, swimming, and even going to the park.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the kids are safe at all times. If something seems like it is not 100% safe, there is no reason to do it. It is also important that the kids feel heard and seen as well. This helps the nanny build trust with the kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I am currently going to school to become a Developmental Pediatrician, so that is exactly what I specialize in. I have worked with kids with special needs for around 8 years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I took a shift on my birthday with one of my favorite families, and when I came in, their 2 girls had made me a card and a cake and sang happy birthday. It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen! Afterwards their mom had gone to work and they told me that me and their mom shared a birthday, but she did not celebrate often, so me and the girls decided to make her some cupcakes and sing to her when she got home. That day made me realize that I wanted to work with kids.
