Hi y’all!

My name is Anna Beth. I’m 21 years old and planning a move from Texas to Oahu for this upcoming late summer (September, hopefully!) I am looking for family to nanny for starting as soon as I move. I have 3 years of nanny experience and 10 years of regular babysitting experience. I currently nanny for 2 families; a 2 year old boy and his 3 year old sister, and a 3.5 year old girl and her 1 yo baby brother. I’m passionate about child care and getting kids outside and playing! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 10 years of babysitting experience children of all ages. This includes date nights and taking kids out for activities (going to the park, movies, etc.) I have babysat for well over 30 families in Texas.

I also was a gymnastics instructor for 2 summers. (Summer [phone number hidden]) This was a high energy job where I ran summer camps of about 24 kids, ages 3-10 every day!

I have mentor experience with a group of about 50 5th grade girls. This was a mentor program to prepare young girls for the transition from elementary school to middle school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a huge believer in getting
Children outside and playing! I currently nanny a 3 year old girl, and we go to the park every day together!
With the babies I have taken care of, I love to take them on strolls and play with sensory toys.
With my “big kids”, I love getting them outside and watching them be creative through art and nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Nannying is by far the most rewarding job I have had. I look back on my childhood, and all of my best memories of my life so far have involved me playing and living in what the present moment has to offer. I believe there is so much to learn from kids. I love seeing my kids grow and development alongside them! For me, I believe the key to being a wonderful nanny is being an intentional listener and patient; two things I feel that I have mastered over the years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The sweet girl I nanny currently is hilarious and always keeps me on my toes!
One of my first days with her, I was putting her down for a nap, and she got very upset saying she didn’t want me to go. I told her that I was going to come over so often that she would be sick of seeing me! Her eyes swelled up with tears and she said, “wait wait! I don’t want to be sick. When am I going to be sick?!” Then, I had to explain to a 3 year old what a figure of speech is. Haha!
