I have been spending my time with children for over 15 years now and loving every minute of it. From babysitting for date nights-to being a full time nanny for a boy with disabilities before college-and then after graduating with my BA in psychology and many early childhood development classes, a live-in nanny for a military family with a 3 year old girl and 7 year old boy with Autism. I have gained even more experience with children through providing Applied Behavioral Analysis both at private homes and in schools on the island. Children are the center of my world, and given my well-rounded education and experience, I believe I would be a charming addition to any family.

Throughout high school I had three families that i would baby sit on the weekends and during the week days. I would pick them up from school do their homework with them and fix dinner and put them to sleep. During the summer i nanny one family which duties include picking up and dropping off kids at activities and camp, taking them surfing or hiking, to the bike park, and more. I also was in charge of feeding them three meals a day, and prepping meals for the parents. I also was sometimes asked to help with the laundry or cleaning the house, whatever they needed help with i did. Also during the summer i babysit on the weekends and late nights after im done nannying. My duties include putting the kids to bed and cleaning the house. I have also been a soccer coach for kids 5-13 for the past four years through camps and programs for the mentally and physically disabled. I also grew up with my mom working as the office manager at a small private elementary and middle school, so i have been helping out with children for as long as i can remember.

I have 5 years of experience as a nanny. I've cared for all ages, ranging from newborn to 12 years.  I understand that people have different disciplinary beliefs, and that each child responds differently to certain methods. Therefore I will easily adapt to the rules of your house, only disciplining your children how you have instructed. I am First Aid and Infant, Children, and Adult CPR certified through the American Red Cross.  Since moving to Hawaii, I have just finished a full time nanny job with 2 two year olds that I've had since they were 9 months old.  I've taken quite a few child development courses, and am also learning American Sign Language.
