I have volunteered as a teachers aide to help prepare me for getting my degree. I have volunteered every Sunday to teach Sunday school for my local church for 5 years now. I also babysit for the kids I teach in Sunday school.

My experience with special needs children...
When I volunteer to be a teachers aide I usually am just a teachers aide to the child who needs extra help or attention whether they were special needs or not but for a whole school year I supervised a 5 yr old with autism in a kindergarten class and I loved it. I do plan on getting special ed certified after I get my degree.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many but one of my favorite nanny moments was watching the baby I nannied for take his first steps at his 1st birthday party. It was a sweet moment seeing him grow and develop new skills as the months went by.
