More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
have hands-on experience caring for children between the ages of 3 and 6 through regularly spending time with and helping care for my boyfriend’s sisters’ children. My experience includes supervising playtime, keeping children engaged, helping with meals and daily routines, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and supported. This experience has helped me become more patient, attentive, and confident when caring for young children. If you need a reference I am willing to give you her number:)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing fun, age-appropriate activities that keep children engaged and encourage creativity and learning. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading books, playing outside, imaginative play, games, and simple educational activities. I’m also happy to follow each family’s routines and choose activities based on the child’s individual interests and needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy environment for both the child and their family. Children deserve to feel heard, supported, and cared for, while parents deserve to feel confident that their child is in responsible and attentive hands. I value patience, open communication, reliability, and treating every child with kindness and respect.
My experience with special needs children...
While I do not yet have extensive hands-on experience caring for children with special needs, my nursing education has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, clear communication, and individualized care. I am always willing to learn about a child’s specific needs and follow the guidance and routines provided by their family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments caring for children are when they become comfortable enough to share their personalities, interests, and excitement with me. I love seeing children laugh, learn something new, or feel proud of something they accomplished. Those moments are especially meaningful to me and are part of why I hope to pursue a career in pediatrics.
