Hello there!

Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Anna Hall and I live in Mendota, IL.

For a long, long time I wondered what it was I wanted to do in life. Meanwhile, I’d babysit for neighbors as a teenager and after high school, I worked as a lunchtime and playground supervisor at a grade school. Caring for little ones had been a joy for as long as I could remember, so the answer was right in front of me the whole time!

I’ve been with my current family for four years, but the three (Yes, three!) kiddos will be in school full time come fall. I have so loved being their nanny and will miss them greatly, but I hope I’ll have the opportunity to share the care I have in my heart with a new family.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Through high school, I babysat for various neighbors. It was there my joy of childcare began!

After high school, I worked as a lunchroom and playground supervisor at a grade school for four years.

Now, I am soon to be leaving the family I’ve nannied for for four years, as the three kiddos will have school full time in the fall. Being their nanny has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I especially love to sing to kids—I know all the Disney tunes, I promise. I also love to read and do different voices for all the characters in the stories. Doing crafts is another of my favorite activities, as is coming up with the crafts!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Providing a nurturing environment for the child/children. Keeping them safe and happy and healthy. Respecting their parent(s)/caretaker(s). Being patient and adaptable, especially in moments of high stress! Most of all, a love for children and a dedication to helping them grow.
