A little bit about me

Hello there! My name is Anna, and I have been joyfully caring for children as both a nanny and a teacher for the past 15 years. I am a creative and playful person, currently working primarily in the musical theatre world here in NYC. I love to incorporate elements of music and dance when working with kids (I'm known for my mid-day dance parties), but I also enjoy doing arts & crafts, reading aloud together, playing learning games, cooking and baking, and I've been told my fort building skills are second to none. In addition to theatre, I also have a degree in psychology which has so often come in handy whether dealing with a kid one-on-one or sibling and family dynamics. I have extensive experience as a teacher and tutor and find such satisfaction in helping a child break through educational and learning struggles and gain newfound confidence in their abilities.
