I've always enjoyed hanging out with and caring for kids but have only limited babysitting experience. Instead, most of my experience working with kids comes from other job experiences. During high school I had several volunteer experiences with kids from toddlers to high school age. I helped out in my church's nursery and a vacation bible school program they put on in the summer. I also volunteered at an elementary school with a school adjustment counselor, leading small groups and helping with conflict resolution. Currently I work at a middle school and high school as a teacher's aid. One neat thing I enjoy about this job is helping students with their assignments when needed.
