More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My most recent nanny job I actually found on Nanny Lane. I nannied for them on and off for over 2 years (ages 3 months - 4). Unfortunately, I stopped nannying for them in July due to the family and I moving in opposite directions! I have babysat since my early teen years. I am also the oldest of 6 kids, so I have plenty of hands on experience. When I was in High School I worked at a daycare in the nursery (ages 6 months - 1.5). I cared for 4 infants at once in that position. Following my employment at the daycare, I nannied for several families after!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I thoroughly enjoy providing an educational and stimulating environment for children. I love creating art projects with them, reading, listening to music, doing puzzles, trying new sensory activities, and going for walks outside. Going to parks and libraries is always so much fun as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of nannying for me is being able to watch the children grow in various ways. I love watching them learn and experience new things. Watching how their faces glow up when they play and do creative activities is so warming to me.
For me it is also important to care for the family as a whole and not just the child. I do what I can in order to not only help the parents feel safe and comfortable putting their children in my care, but I also try to do things that might take a slight load off of the parents. That's what I'm here for. To help in any way that I can :)

My experience with special needs children...
I do not have much previous paid experience with special needs children. I do however have a 9 year old brother who has autism that I assist often.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I hadn't seen the kids for a few weeks and when I came back, the oldest had learned new words and once I opened the door she ran to me and shouted "Anna is home!". That is my LC bear!!
Another favorite nanny moment was when I was watching this little boy who was 7 and his baby brother who was less than 1, and one day the 7 year old said to me, "Anna, I think that the color that represents you would be yellow because it's a happy color". That was a true nanny heartwarming moment.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Comstock Park, MI: Dulcinea A.
Hello, my name is Dulcie and I am 23yr old with lots of backround experience with kids ages 5-18+! I used to work full time at CARD as a Behavioral Technician which is a therapy center for children with diagnosed Autism. I then moved to WFH corporate scheduling for those kiddos and families! I am married and now have my first child who is 1.5 yrs old:) I have a very fun and crafty personality, and have learned how hard it can be to not have help in the midst of caring for the little ones while working. If you choose to message me, Id have to bring my own child with me but rest assured I'm vaccinated and he is up to date on all his shots as well! I am a SAHM so I have a more free schedule than I used to- I look forward to possibly working for your family!

I am a high school student who is very involved with sports and I have always loved kids! When I was younger my mom had an in-home daycare for 15 years. I grew up around kids and love to care for them. I was able to gain a lot of experience through my moms business. This past summer I nannied for a lovely family who had 3 children. I would keep up with households needs and do breakfast and lunch everyday, sometimes even dinner! Summer of 2019 I nannied a few days of the week for another family who had 2 children. I have been nannying since I was 13 years old and I still very much enjoy it!
