A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Anne, and I am a dedicated, high-energy nanny with nearly 2 years of professional childcare experience. I am looking for a stable, consistent long-term position with a family where I can grow and stay for at least 2 years (or more!).

I have hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, and pride myself on being adaptable, reliable, and attentive to each child’s individual development. I am very active and love spending time outdoors—whether that’s exploring local parks, going on walks, or organizing fun outdoor games. I’m also big on creativity and love incorporating hands-on arts and crafts projects into our weekly routine.

If you are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic nanny to become a seamless addition to your family, I would love to connect and chat about how I can support your household!

More About Me

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is being a steady, supportive presence through every stage of a child’s development. There is nothing more rewarding than watching children grow, learn, and discover the world around them, but doing so effectively requires a deep awareness of where they are mentally, emotionally, and physically.

With a background in psychology and coursework in child development, I approach caregiving with an understanding that every milestone matters. Children thrive when they receive the right type of support tailored specifically to their current stage. Rather than rushing milestones or applying a one-size-fits-all approach, my focus is on encouraging growth along each child's natural progression—fostering confidence, curiosity, and resilience at every step of the way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I needed to fill some time with the kids right before we had to leave for hockey. They were buzzing with energy and super excited to get out the door, so to channel that active energy, I started a game to see who could come up with the silliest interpretive dance.

We took turns showing off our moves, and what started as a quick time-killer ended up lasting the entire wait—and honestly, we could have kept going much longer if we didn't have a schedule to keep! They were so creative, fully engaged, and completely in their element. It was one of those wonderful reminders of how brilliant a child's imagination is and how amazing it is to see their brains at work when given the space to play freely.

Jenna M. - Seeking Work in San Diego

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in San Diego, CA: Jenna M.

Hi there! I am a mom to four wonderful children, so I know firsthand that raising a family is the most rewarding—and challenging—job in the world. Because of this, I know exactly what parents need: a trustworthy partner who treats their children like their own.

My background is a bit unique! While I have many years of experience as a nanny and caregiver, I spent the last three years working at a children’s hospital. Before that, I was a newborn hearing screener. These roles have given me a special expertise in infant care and early childhood development. I am very comfortable with newborns and have a "baby whisperer" touch that comes from both mothering four children and professionally screening hundreds of newborns.

I am looking for a family where I can provide reliability, warmth, and expert care. Whether it’s helping a toddler hit a milestone, soothing a fussy newborn, or just keeping the household running smoothly while you are at work, I am here to help.
