"AnnMarie was a godsend to our family for 2 years, and we miss her! From the start, she knew exactly what was needed, sometimes before we did. The kids responded to her caring direction right away and it felt like she had been with us forever. Her transition into our family was seamless.
We liked that she was firm but gentle, and she was always 'secretly' teaching, each at their own level. She was expert at happy playtime and awesome cleanup, bedtime stories and bedtime, on time!

* I relocated to Seattle,WA for the school system and I had earned many IT certifications all self study, CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CNE, MCT, and I began my career as a Network engineer. I configured routers and integrated them into each county's E-911 PSAP to fulfill an FCC mandated law that every 911 operator was provided location information from a cell phone caller LAT/LONG within 15 feet of the caller.
*I am also a Certified technical trainer and I taught classes at EVCC college.
*I was a highly respected Senior Network engineer with Boeing for many years, supporting the largest most complex network Infrastructure.
* After Boeing I decided to pursue my passion once again as a Nanny and care for infants and toddlers as this feeds my soul!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am an extremely passionate teacher and I make learning a game! I LOVE Reading, going for long leasure walks, exploring everything possible, listening to both infants and toddlers with my undivided attention as infants are absolutely able to communicate they just need a good listener, encouraging creative play time, singing, dancing, blowing bubbles, and lots and lots of music. I am absolutely not a dicipilnarian as children naturally want to behave they only need lots and lots of attention and positive reinforcement. My daughter is 33 years old and she was never punished for an action as this is not in any way productive and I do not support anything that is negative and only causes unnecessary stress and distroys self confidence. If children are busy playing and engaged in interesting activities they don't have idle time to get frustrated and as a result misbehave. Testing boundaries is a form of learning. Everything can be lovingly talked about and children thrive as a result.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important quality that every Nanny must have is the ability of being an excellent listener. My life experience with infants, toddlers and children of all ages. I have truly been blessed to have had the privilege of over 38 years caring for our future generation, our children!

My experience with special needs children...
Autistic/Autism; Autism is a very wide spectrum, my experience is with a child who was non-verbal until he was 5. He is affectionate, he is sensitive to loud noises, he thrives with a structured schedule. Suddenly when he was 5 years old he began to talk fluently. He recently received a Full scholarship for 4 years with the University as he is increadibly intelligent.
Cerebral Pausey; this experience has been with a family member. I cared for Maddison but not on a regular basis. I have been with her since birth and it breaks my heart as she has had very serious health problems. She is always happy and smiling. She is considered non-verbal at school as she will only talk, to her Mom and sister. She is extremely happy.
Failure to thrive; A very challenging situation, unfortunately Medical professionals are only interested in the low hanging fruit. I am extremely passionate with research and
