Hi! I’m a passionate childcare worker since day one! I decided to peruse my love for children and study Early Childhood Education. I attended the university of Mississippi And was born and raised in Georgia! I moved to Idaho Springs about 2 months ago! I absolutely love it! I have worked with children for 7+ years.I’ve had experience working with all ages and absolutely love every second! Im a big believer in constancy is key when it comes to children and would love to learn as much as I can from each parent and there way of parenting so I can keep that constancy for your child/children! I’ve. I have loved taking care of children since I was 14. I drive a safe Subaru SUV 2021 , with a great driving record! I am happy to plan crafts and lots of sensory activities to keep the brain flowing! I also love the outdoors so when weather permits would love to be outside! I work well with all types of people!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have taught a class of 12-24 month children 11 children in the class plus I had an assistant. I am an experienced yet focused multitasker.

I have also been an assistant when I was In college at a day care with a class of ten 4 yo.

I was also a full time nanny for a 7 year old for almost two years!

In Boise I was a full time baby for a family of 3 - 4 days a week ages 4-13years old

Most recently I worked with a 3month old and full time 4 days a week for 2 years

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’ve taught a class of 11 1.5 year olds with an assistant present and would plan a daily sensory or craft that fit there age appropriately!
Playing outside, games to get the brain flowing as well as keeping active
Lots of song singing!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Consistency! I am a big supporter of the idea of keeping consistency in a child’s life, balance meaning I’d love to learn as much as I can about the parents ways of parenting there child so I can keep up the same rules.
Also safety always #1 and lots of love and encouragement throughout the day!

My experience with special needs children...

I have taken many special needs early childhood education classes in school, but I have only personally worked with one special needs child.. therefore not as experienced

The most important part about being a nanny...

I enjoy planning the sensory activities and arts as craft sometimes as much as the child does actually doing them! I love how pure and honest children are I love learning with them thought out the day! Sometimes I’m even the one learning from there little creative minds!
