I have one year of structured experience working as a daycare assistant and youth gymnastics coach, where I learned how to manage groups of children, keep them safe, and lead active, organized play. Additionally, because my mother is a kindergarten teacher at Centreville Elementary, I have grown up around early childhood education and have had numerous opportunities to job-shadow her in the classroom. This has given me unique, firsthand insight into positive reinforcement and effective childcare techniques.

I love keeping children active and engaged! I am a big fan of creative, imaginative play and arts and crafts. During the summer, I enjoy supervised outdoor water activities like pool or lake days. For high-energy children, I love playing sports such as football and baseball to help them stay active, learn teamwork, and burn off some energy in a fun, safe way.

I am proud to volunteer with my school’s special needs program, where I have actively participated in and assisted with Special Olympics events. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of patience, adaptive communication, and ensuring that every child feels included, supported, and cheered on.
