While I have not worked as a nanny before, I have a lot of experience caring for children in different settings. Through my Early Care and Education program, I have gained hands-on experience working with children ages 4-7 through classroom observations and activities. I also worked at a childcare center for 2 years, where I cared for children ages 1-2 and helped support their daily routines, learning, play, and development. Growing up, I also helped care for my younger cousins ranging from 8 months old to 12 years old. I am also a mom to my 1-year-old son, Cohen, which has taught me even more patience, responsibility, and understanding of children’s needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing activities that allow children to have fun while learning. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading, sensory activities, outdoor play, music, pretend play, and hands-on activities that encourage creativity and development.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a trusting relationship with both the child and the family. Children need someone who is patient, caring, dependable, and willing to support their growth while making them feel safe, loved, and valued.

Through my Early Care and Education program, I have had opportunities to work with children with different abilities and learning needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and making sure every child feels included, supported, and valued.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although I have not been a nanny before, my favorite moments from working with children have been seeing their excitement when they learn something new, accomplish a goal, or feel proud of something they created. Being able to encourage children and watch their confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of working with children.
