I nannied for a summer for a family of 3 kids, 1 little girl who was 3 years old, and 2 boys who were 6 and 9.
I also have experience with a 10-year old kid with special needs for 2 years. I also babysit my niece and nephew quite a bit.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me most about being a nanny is being a safe space for these kids to trust I got their backs. They can be themselves without the fear of rejection or abandonment as I try to use curiosity, acceptance and celebration to meet them where they're at. I don't shy away from opportunities to grow my own awareness and wisdom. This is why I love being a nanny, it is great practice to not only be more of a loving parent to myself but also get prepared for my future as I would love to have kids one day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Driving in the car and jamming to our favorite tunes has to be my favorite time with the kid I used to nanny. We loved to jam out and joke around with funny dance moves or silly words we would replace the lyrics with.
