A little bit about me

I am employed with a state program that serves kids & adults with special needs as a respite worker. With this company I've worked with 3-7 & 14-41 y/o’s over the span of my 3 yrs working there. I have my CPR & First Aid certification as well as
a CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
certification which allows me to be able to de-escalate any situation with care.
Some of my cases also come with taking care of their pet dogs which I always enjoy! I am active and love to use physical activity as a way to regulate their emotions & help them get their energy out effectively by going on walks, to the park, biking, scootering, etc. I have always loved working with kids and was given the opportunity to be a Sunday school teacher to 1-2nd graders for 4 years. I am extremely patient and understanding when it comes to kiddos and those with special needs as they need extra help in learning to effectively communicate their thoughts and feelings.
