A little bit about us…
I am an Air Traffic Controller in the US Navy, and my son and I will be here for a few more years. He starts school this year!
I am required to work shifts, therefore I must have childcare to accommodate the incompatibility between school and work hours, not covered by standard childcare.
I am in need of assistance as my son’s sole provider and with my heavy task load. I am in need of brief childcare in my home then school drop off one week (Mon-Fri). The following week, timely school pickup is needed with a drop-off at regular daycare provider. This would continue with the alternating schedule every other week.

My son is 5 and will be turning 6 at the end of August. He loves to learn, imagine, be around others, read, dance, sing, play outside, swim (learning), and more. He loves to eat and may be picky at times but will try new things. We are practicing ASL and will be learning other spoken languages. If you are fluent in a language in addition to English, this is a plus!
We are looking for someone who has the potential to reliably be with us for a couple years. Additional payment for gas (based on mileage and vehicle).

MUST HAVES:
Consent to background check
Driver’s license & car insurance
Personal vehicle
Non-Smoking
Flexibility
Reliability, Punctuality, Professionalism
Respect for privacy
Like Children (not just a paycheck)
Experience (namely w/ school age children)
First Aid and CPR Certification
Zero-tolerance of bigotry/bias/hate
Reinforce rules (cleanup, manners, listening, kindness, etc)

PLUS (not required):
2nd language
Base access
Homework help
Meal Prep
Light housekeeping
Appointment or “mom night” childcare
Weekend childcare
Late night/Overnight childcare
Potential to be full time nanny (possibly live in)

We look forward to meeting our new Nanny!
