I have both personal and professional experience working with children with special needs. I grew up with an autistic brother, which gave me early hands-on experience with patience, understanding, and individualized care. Professionally, I have worked as a caregiver for children with special needs in Sacramento, California.
I have experience supporting children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, behavioral challenges, dyslexia, and various medical conditions. I’m comfortable adapting to each child’s unique needs, maintaining structure and consistency, and using calm, supportive approaches to help children feel safe and understood.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child who was extremely nervous about swimming build confidence in the water. I took a patient, structured approach and worked with them consistently until they went from being afraid to fully enjoying it. By the end, they were excited to swim and proud of themselves. Moments like that are why I love what I do helping children grow, gain confidence, and feel supported in a safe, encouraging environment.
