More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I babysat two children, ages 5(boy) and 7(girl), in broken arrow, OK. This was a temporary position because the kids were in social distance schooling. This was from September 2020 to December 2020. After winter break, the children resumed in - person schooling and the parents no longer needed the help.
My day started at 9am - 2pm, Monday - Thursday. My job was to log them into each of their computers, so they can complete all the schoolwork and homework assigned. Once they were logged in, I monitored their progress and made sure they got the help, they needed.
At lunch time (12pm), my job was to heat up premade meals. Every meal they had was nutritionally balanced, which was the parents request. Which, I respected and had no problems with. After lunch was finished, the children had choices, depending if they finished schooling. If their schooling wasn't finished, then they'd have to finish after lunch. Once finished, they choose whatever fun activities they wanted.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
It depends on the children that I'm watching. It depends on their ages and where they are developmentally. I need to get to know what they enjoy doing and work with that. I may introduce them to new fun activities, if theyre open to it. I think children should be given the freedom, to explore what interests them, first.
However, playing I spy, dress up, playing with toys, arts and crafts(coloring, drawing, painting), board games, card games and etc are the standard children activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I'm an example to them because we're spending time together and they're watching what I say and do. It's important to make them feel safe and secure. I like to encourage them to not be afraid to try new things and to have fun, always. I'm essentially watching them grow as a person under my care, and it's fun to see what they've learned from me, at the end of each day. Not just that but a lesson from school, a book or a fun activity. Sometimes infants and children can teach me new things as well.
My experience with special needs children...
No experience but I'm open to learning
The most important part about being a nanny...
With infants, its getti g to see the milestones and development. With toddlers, its getting see see them grow. With grade school children, its getting to see their face light up, when they understand something new.

Babysitter Available in Tulsa, OK: Nora K.
I am 22 years old and have worked in a childcare facility for almost a year and a half while also attending school for Early Childhood Education. As of May, I have been working with children ages 5–10 in our summer camp program. Before that, from April 2025 to May 2026, I worked in our Pre-K program.
I love the energy and excitement that children bring every day, and being young allows me to actively engage with them and keep up with their enthusiasm. I have experience supervising children on weekly field trips and ensuring they have a fun, safe, and positive experience.
In addition, I volunteered at a summer camp where I spent a week caring for a group of 8–14 children away from their parents. During that time, I helped lead activities, supervised campers, and created a supportive and engaging environment.
