More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been babysitting for families for almost 7 years now, and I also have experience being a summer nanny. For this position I would take the kiddos to fun places such as water world, bowling alleys, the pool, lake days, etc. Along with this I have also done dual positions where I am a babysitter and pet sitter for families! 😊
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing anything outside or creative. Some examples I have done in the past are going to adventure parks, lake days or hikes, crafts (painting, making fairy houses, baking, etc.) and imaginative games. I will never just put the tv on, I believe in stimulating and creative adventures!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is not only being a friend to your children but also a roll model. I love being able to teach and inspire the kids I work with to not only be kind, creative and understanding, but also give them an example of what it looks like to have those characteristics.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have actual experience with special needs children, but I have been around them and would be open to working with the right family :). I am very kind, patient and understanding with children and love being able to help in any way I can.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was working for a family who had one young child. I was there quite frequently and she told her parents that I was the only babysitter she wanted to have. I became an older sister roll model in her life and it brought my heart so much joy to be able to fill that roll for her.
