Hello, my name is Ashanti! I have a very big and bold personality, I like to talk, have a lot of energy, and I love being around energy that matches mine! I love the outdoors and being active during the day. Childcare has been something I have always been interested in, and have had the opportunity to be able to do for a long time. I grew up with 7 siblings being the second oldest so I was able to have hands on experience with childcare through my younger siblings, which I am very thankful for. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, and I have worked at a couple daycares in the last couple of years. I have been around ages 6weeks-10 years old (I understand each age group, and how to respond to each age). I am majoring in Elementary Education, but currently taking this year off from school. I have always had a passion to take care of children, it’s something that I am really good at, and something that I enjoy very much! I hope I can be the right fit for you and your family!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Babysat from age 13-23(now), and I also have worked at a couple daycares which allowed me to have the experience to work with ages 6weeks-10yrs old. I also was able to have the opportunity to go to an amish community (school) for three days, and sit in, observe, and help the elementary kids with their homework. (For my college diversity class)

Indoor activities I would do with your kid(s):
Building blanket forts, games (mind challenging games but also fun easy going games), reading books, and just encouraging your child to be creative so we can come up with ideas together and fun ways to have a good time while indoors!

Outdoor activities I would do with your kid(s): Going to the park, going for walks, playing outdoor games, and when it starts snowing building snow forts, snowmen/snowwmen, sledding… etc.
