The most important part about being a nanny, in my opinion, is being passionate about the job. When you work with children they need someone who genuinely cares for them and can be patient and kind yet firm.

The most important part about being a nanny...
There are so many to choose from. I think some of my favorite moments are the simplest ones. How the kids get excited after they accomplish something new. Or when they want to show you something they love. For example a favorite toy or book. Even the sad moments can be good ones. Kids can get frustrated really fast when they don't understand something, but it is these moments where you can really make a difference. They are good learning lessons to help kids control their feelings and communicate what they need or want.
