Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at my church for a holiday production called Singing Christmas Tree, where I was responsible for supervising and keeping children—from preschool through middle school—engaged and well-behaved. This experience helped me develop strong patience, communication, and organizational skills, especially when managing groups of children in a lively environment.

I love creating a fun and engaging environment for children, where they can learn and play. I enjoy planning activities that spark creativity, like arts and crafts or board games. I also believe in the importance of outdoor play, and I love taking children to parks or engaging them in games that get them moving. My goal is to support their growth and development while making sure they feel safe, supported, and happy!

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel valued and cared for. It’s about being someone they can trust, who encourages their growth, curiosity, and independence, while also providing structure and guidance. Building a positive relationship with both the children and their parents is essential to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and confident. Being a nanny is more than just a job—it’s about making a positive impact on a child’s life.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs through several volunteer opportunities. I’ve provided childcare for kids with Down Syndrome. I also volunteered for Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine, helping to create a joyful, exciting experience for attendees. Additionally, I supported and volunteered at a Healing Hearts Project event, where I engaged in arts and crafts with participants and assisted with event setup and teardown.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a babysitter was spending an afternoon with the kids drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. We got creative with colors, made up fun games, and filled the pavement with our artwork. It was such a simple activity, but seeing their excitement and watching their creativity come to life made it a truly special memory.
