Hi! My name is Ashley, and I’m a senior at Vanderbilt University with over 5 years of babysitting experience, working with children from 6 months to 14 years old. In addition to childcare, I have extensive tutoring experience (ACT and all subjects through high school level), and I work at Vanderbilt’s Writing Studio and serve as a TA for Calculus—so I’m happy to help with homework or educational activities if desired. I also started and ran a meal delivery service last summer, so I’d be delighted to assist with meal prep or weeknight cooking if that would be helpful. I have a reliable car with three rows of seats and can help with pickups and drop-offs when needed. I have over five years of babysitting experience with children aged 6 months to 14 years, where I developed strong childcare and communication skills. I also served as an assistant teacher in a 6th-grade classroom, gaining experience in lesson planning and classroom management. Additionally, I coached soccer for kids aged 4-8, where I learned to motivate and engage young children in both group and individual settings. With my background in tutoring and as a TA, I’m well-equipped to support both academic and recreational activities.

I love creating fun and engaging activities that encourage kids to be active and creative. Some of my favorite things to do include outdoor games, arts and crafts, and hands-on projects like building forts or cooking simple recipes together. I also enjoy organizing scavenger hunts, playing sports, and reading stories to spark imagination.
