A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Ashley and I am 40 years old. I am looking for a nanny/baby-sitting job. For the past 10 years I have worked for a family as a nanny who cares for medical foster children. There are currently eight children in the home that I care for. I start in the early morning to help get kids ready for school, School drop off, School pickups, School events, run errands, grocery pickups, monthly meal preps, cook meals for the month, doctor visits, homework, baths/showers, housekeeping/home organized, sports events/activities/ fun outings, I also care for them for parent date nights out. Etc
So as of right now...
As the kids are now getting older, I'm not working as much with her now. That is why I am currently looking for extra work. I do still work with her in the mornings M-F to get kids to school. 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and I keep one of her kids on the weekends. I also have a house cleaning job every Monday until 4p.m.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have also worked with children in a gym's child care, for 3 years/ and I volunteered for my church with the youth groups of all ages for 5+ years. The lady that I nanny for now, went to the gym I worked for, and had me come work for her Full- time as a nanny.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Two boys I nanny for, are in baseball.
Two girls, do dance. One of those girls also does gymnastics. I love taking them to their events, and watching them do their things! I also take them out for fun times like the fun center, Chuck-E-Cheese, parks, movies, skating, sky zone, and out to eat.

The most important part about being a nanny is... Loving what you do, and playing a big part in a family's life, and the children's lives.

My experience with special needs children...

The kids that I nanny for are all medical needs children, so I have experience with a g-tube and giving meds.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don't really have a favorite moment, because everyday is a special day! I love what I do, I love caring for children and watching them grow. I love the bond that I make with them!
