I’m currently enrolled in school online, I am getting my business major although I have my CNA I decided to switch it up a little. My experience with special needs children...

This is one of my all time favorite nanny moments actually. I worked with a 4-year-old non-verbal Autistic child and taught him to say his first word "up". Using Applied Behavioral Analysis I was able to teach him say the /u/ sound and then the /p/ sound. Putting the two sounds together was half the battle, but once he was able to learn the meaning behind that sound, he was able to communicate using a word for the first time in his life.
