I nannied a preschool aged boy for a woman who is now one of my closest friends for quite some time. I also raised my younger brother from about 12-18
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading, homework, age appropriate games that also challenge their minds, dinners that they too can be apart of occasionally. But mostly, i enjoy giving them a chance to be children, and will usually do what they would like to do within reason. Because, sometimes they do need to just stack some legos and knock em’ over.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the important part about being a nanny is loving these children and investing in them like I would want someone to love and invest in mine one day. To help nurture their development and help them grow.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a volunteer for Special Needs programs in my hometown, with that being said i have no training for special needs care. I am aware of the many different ways in which they would need to receive care and would be open to learning on how to best care for your child.
