The most important part of being a nanny personally, is being able to care for the children and understand their needs. It’s always good to reach that connection within being a nanny to the kids and creating a safe and friendly environment.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for a couple children ages 4-7 that have had special needs that included slower mentalities, personality disorders, and ptsd trauma. The experience in itself was eye opening as I learned so much about the children and to know that sometimes things need to be taken slower so I could learn how the children reacted to situations and themselves.
