More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with various families, gaining hands-on experience caring for children of different ages and needs. I currently work as a CNA at a retirement community, where I’ve developed a deep compassion for people of all ages and a strong foundation in providing attentive, professional care.
I hold multiple licenses and certifications through my CNA role and nursing education, including training in first aid and emergency response. I bring a calm, dependable, and nurturing presence, and I’m committed to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children to grow and thrive.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending time outside with the kids whenever possible. While the weather can sometimes limit outdoor activities, I always enjoy being hands-on and engaged. Whether it’s through games, creative play, or learning something new together, I love being actively involved. I’m also flexible and open, and I strive to meet the unique expectations and needs of each individual family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love being involved with the families I work with and aim to give parents peace of mind when they're away from their children. I understand how much pressure parents can be under, and I take pride in being someone they can rely on—both as a trusted caregiver and a fun, positive presence for their kids. My goal is always to create a safe, joyful environment where everyone feels supported.
My experience with special needs children...
Raised in Portland, Oregon, I was always actively involved with my classmates with special needs. I regularly took peer support classes to spend more time learning alongside them and building strong connections. Throughout high school, I was also a part of the Special Olympics sports teams and truly enjoyed being involved in their activities. These experiences helped shape my compassion and deepened my love for caregiving and inclusion.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love taking the little ones I nanny to the park or swimming pool—it’s such a joy to see them active and having fun outdoors. Spending time outside, then coming home for lunch and winding down together, is one of my favorite daily routines. These simple moments are some of the most rewarding parts of caring for children.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Chandler, AZ: Melanie M.
I have worked with children and special needs for over 15 years. I am for and first aid certified and have a level one fingerprint clearance. I have recently been caring for a special needs child who is now 11 since he was 6 months so I do prefer a long term position as I became close to the family I’ve been working with and they are having to relocate and I have made the decision not to relocate with them as I have a daughter of my own finishing high school. I have experience with newborns and up and have also been a house manager while babying for the same family. I have several references from co workers and others.
