A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Asia. I'm currently working in the Hospitality field as my main income but I occasionally freelance gigs in other areas, babysitting or events (customer service). I'm the oldest of 5 and have taken care of my younger siblings when I was 8-18 years old when my parents were at work and went on errands. I have also done the same with a couple of my younger cousins that lived in the same house as I did. I am good with pets, mainly dogs. I am good with some cats because I am allergic to some, I think it's only long-haired ones as I have a domestic shorthaired cat at home. I am not First Aid/CPR certified at the moment but I am able to renew it at further notice.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a live in nanny for my ex-coworker and her husband. She had 2 toddlers that were 9 months apart, a middle schooler and a high schooler for a little over a year. I watched another ex-coworker's young daughter 4-5 yrs old whenever she had work on my off days for about a year. I have also had a babysitting gig where I had to meet at my client's home and watch her children since she had to work early and then drop them off to school for about a month.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Coloring books, watching children's movies (mostly Disney/Dreamworks), going to the park or arcade, helping them with their homework, playing with Legos or other toys that lets them use their imagination. I do my best to limit activities that don't include technologies, smartphone or a tablet.
