The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, caring relationship with the children and their family. It’s about providing a safe, nurturing environment where kids can feel supported and loved, while also being a positive role model and helping them grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most memorable moments I’ve had babysitting was when a little boy insisted on wearing his superhero costume everywhere—including to the grocery store. He took his role very seriously, making sure the cereal aisle was “safe” and even trying to rescue a can of soup that fell off the shelf. People couldn’t stop smiling, and I couldn’t stop laughing. It was one of those small, silly moments that reminded me how special it is to see the world through a child’s eyes.
