My name is Lizzie Athena and I’m from here in CT! I mostly go by Athena. I studied Psychology and Child Development in college with a focus on working with kids to use art in Therapy as way to help communicate. I’ve been passionate about working with kids since we had to bring those robot crying babies home in high school and find true joy in helping little ones develop and grow in a safe, encouraging environment. There’s no better sound than a joy filled laugh from a child, whether it be a baby or an older kid.
Working with kids and helping families have the flexibility and assistance they need to be the best versions of themselves is what makes me excited to get up in the morning.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a 3 1/2 year old stepson who lives with me and my husband so I care for and drive around a lil guy every day!
I’ve worked as a daycare teacher in the infant room, 1 year old and 2 year old rooms. I’ve worked as a private nanny for several different families and primarily care for children under the age of 4.
I do have experience caring for school age kids but my passion is working with little ones!
