Hello, my name is Atlanta! I’m 26 years old. I’m an active member of the LDS church. I love the outdoors, sports, and spending time with family and friends.

I love kids and enjoy interacting with them and watching them learn and grow! I have a big heart and I’m so ready to share it with another family!

I was a nanny to a family of 4 girls, 9 yrs old and younger. My main focus was the twins who were 16 months when I started. I helped with cooking and cleaning along with caring for the kids.
I’ve been a nanny to a special needs 19 year old boy.
I have lots of experience with kids of all ages. I’ve babysat consistently since I was 12 years old. I currently work with teenagers. And I helped care for my grandpa at the end stages of his life.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Babysitting since I was 12.
Nanny to a family of 4 (9 and younger), focused on 16 month old twins.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love interacting with kids and seeing where their imaginations take them. I will join in on pretty much anything from Barbies to monster trucks, hide and seek, dance parties, etc. I enjoy playing outside and taking kids to the park. Reading to kids before naptime, or really anytime haha. The occasional electronics is ok (as long as the parents are ok with it) but I really enjoy being off electronics and spending time interacting with the kids and watching them learn and grow!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping kids feel seen, heard, and loved! Creating an environment where kids can be themselves and learn and grow. Being someone the family can trust and rely on. Building good relationships with everyone in the family and becoming part of the family!

My experience with special needs children...

I couldn’t tell you the name of the specific conditions that the kids had but I was a paraprofessional for a 4th grade boy who was nonverbal and later was a nanny for a 19 year old boy who was also nonverbal. Both could walk and were very interactive. I was able to learn their communication styles and interact well and build good trusting relationships with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It’s too hard to think of just one moment. I loved playing and laughing with the kids and seeing how their interests change as they grow. Playing with toys, dance parties, water days in the backyard, playing kitchen, going to the park, reading to them at nap time, coloring, doing crafts, having silly nicknames for each other, roadtrips with the family, swimming, riding bikes outside, hide and seek when they would just go sit in the middle of a room and close their eyes as if they were hidden. And honestly some of the hardest days bring some of the best memories like trying to figure out what food they will actually eat for dinner when they decide to be picky. Making getting ready for bed a game. Making silly faces and making them laugh while changing their diaper. I love being a nanny!
