But the reason why I want to work with children is because I was a child that nobody wanted to work with, or nobody had time for on top of having really busy parents. So instead of looking at it as if “I’m just here to make sure you don’t burn the house down go away” i actually interact with the kids learn what they like to do, what’s their favorite games, sports, toys, etc.. and just let them get a chance warm up to me, instead of just being a stranger that comes into their home and basically looks at them all day. I like to be kind of a babysitter and a friend since I’m really not that much older than most kids I’ve watched, so it’s easier for me to connect with all age ranges of kids .
