Hi my name is Autumn! I am 19 and a student at ISU looking for a part time job and I thought this would be perfect for me! I have been babysitting since I was about 15 and I love it. I started off watching my younger siblings, cousins, to some of my family’s close friends children. Over the past few years have primarily worked with infants and toddlers but I am fine with all ages! I like to go outside in the backyard and play if it is nice out but if not we can bring out the board games and legos! In my free time i enjoy to be with family, friends and be outdoors.

I helped volunteer at my grandmas school when I was younger to help out with special needs kids along with one year I helped run an easter egg hunt contest.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

If the weather is nice enough I enjoy going outside, playing with chalk, bubbles, riding bikes and etc. Inside I like to do puzzles, reading books, baking, playing cars or dress up!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel that the most important is knowing the kids and understanding them. It takes a lot of patience and you have to be outgoing with them, so they can truly be themselves and have fun!

My experience with special needs children...

My brother has been on the spectrum for autism and I learned to care for him as I did also help out with my grandma at her school which is for special needs children as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

We all had a frozen night where we put on songs and dressed up as the characters and we sang karaoke and baked cookies it was so fun!
