More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Most of my childcare experience comes from my mom running an in home daycare my entire life (ages infant to 6). I taught one semester in the spring of 2024 in Waverly teaching students aged 12 to 18. I am now a substitute teacher and have taught children aged 3 to 18.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy and would be will to teach children cooking, baking, crocheting. When it comes to outside activities my main priority is getting the children outside. This could be going for a walk, going to the park, playing games, spending time in the backyard, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Spending time with the children and getting them out and doing something is the most important part of being a nanny. Children learn by experiences and play, so I believe it is important to give them the time and space to do so.
My experience with special needs children...
When teaching in Waverly I served as a special education teacher, teaching students with mostly behavioral needs as well as students with math, reading, and writing needs. Since then I regularly substitute teach in special education classrooms (tier 1 and tier 2) helping students with a wide range of needs
