I worked in family medical practice for ~10 months! I also was a hostess for around a year where I dealt with countless families and littles.

I absolutely love doing sensory activities, such as painting, slime, activity books, etc. I also love playing pretend, such as grocery stores. I also enjoy allowing kids to feel included and like they have a voice during activity/play!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part is to be a supportive figure to children. Having a strong support system has a positive impact on their childhood. Growing up, my nanny took care of me since i was an infant to about 6 years old. She was the reason I learned Spanish and she taught me how to interact with other kids. I still think about her and keep in touch. I hope that I can recreate that same experience for another child. c:

I have 0 experience with any special needs children. However, I would be more than willing to learn and understand their needs. I understand the extra time, patience, and care needed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My absolute favorite moments have been watching them grow up and start new journeys of their own. Even if I have moved on from a babysitting position, seeing pictures of them starting new grades or hobbies, absolutely melts my heart. It also means the world to me when they still recognize and talk about me after the years <3
