Engaging with the kids and having them trust you but also keeping them safe and doing things they will enjoy. Such as going outside for walks or sidewalk chalk and trying to get to the park every once in awhile.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I baby sat these two little girls (2&3) for a family friend and they gave me no trouble. They loved seeing me and both fell asleep on me on the couch and I carried them to bed. My favorite part about this was when the parents got back they said they have never had someone who has been able to put their kids to sleep and in their beds without them waking up. They also mentioned how I had cleaned up after us and no one has made sure to clean.
