I have worked in several neighborhood homes, and have experience pet sitting, babysitting, and cleaning homes. I am an older sister to a 9 year old girl who once was a premature baby and I learned how to gently care for infants and provide them the care they need when they cannot voice it yet. I also have cared for multiple boys for a family friend from ages 5-10.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe being a nanny or babysitter is essential to progressing g your own understanding of how to teach, understand, and accommodate children in a healthy and adequate way. However, to me, babysitting is not just a job, it's a relationship. Babysitting builds a relationship between you and the family you are helping and caring for. These relationships builds bonds, social skills, and learn to accommodate and meet people where they are at. I love working with children, and to me, the most important part of babysitting is doing what is best for the people you care for and are caring for.
