Hi my name is Ava and I am an upcoming freshman at Texas A&M studying psychology. I have been babysitting independently for 7 years. I have taken Babysitting 101 through Red Cross, child development 1 and early childhood education. I am first aid, CPR (infant, child and adult as well as choking), CERT (disaster response), stop the bleed, positive behavioral support (for special needs individuals), and Mandt (deescalating and physical holds) certified. I am on the family care registry (background check), I am a mandated reporter and have a drivers license. I was a children’s gymnastics coach for 1.5 years, volunteered at a domestic violence nursery for a year, worked with special needs individuals for 6 months and was a teachers aid for 6 months. I also know baby sign language and am taking spanish at school. I am fine with pets, light housework, and meals.
