I have two brothers with autism, and one brother with cerebral palsy and epilepsy who is non-verbal. I have cared professionally for children with ADHD and children who have cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and are non-verbal (requiring interpretation of noises or an AAC device).
The most important part about being a nanny...
So many to pick from! One of my favorite nanny moments was when one of the greetings between Arya (non-verbal little girl I nannied) and me was a making a fart noise and then plugging our noses in disgust. I also enjoyed reading various books to her in an awful French accent just to amuse her. 😂
